Hello, my name is Dayoung Jeong.

Dayoung Jeong is an international theatre artist and thinker originally from South Korea. Her first name is pronounced like “da” in “Ta-da!” and “young.” Words are the main medium of her creations. She's a performing-arts omnivore. There are nights when she watches silly things on Netflix but she would rather dress to the nine and go to the theatre. There is nothing she does not enjoy, from downtown experimental theatre to opera featuring Sondra Radvanovsky. But more than anything else, she enjoys writing things on her laptop or light blue legal pads. If you love Pembroke welsh corgis, malbec wine, true red nail lacquer, the New Yorker, and/or gazing at flowers at grocery stores, you might have at least one thing in common with her. 

정다영은 대한민국 출생의 아티스트입니다. 집안 소파에 드러누워 랩탑으로 넷플릭스를 보는 날들도 있지만, 난생 본 적 없는 낯선 이들과 한 자리에 앉거나 서서 작품을 감상하는 것을 더 좋아합니다. 공연 예술이라면 종류를 가리지 않는 잡식형 인간이기도 합니다. 다운타운에서 하는 실험극부터 손드라 라드바노프스키가 등장하는 오페라까지, 그를 들뜨게 하는 것은 없으니까요. 그보다 더 좋아하는 것이 있다면, 랩탑 키보드를 두들기며 새로운 작업을 하는 것이죠. 그 다음으로는 웰시 코기, 말벡 와인, 정석적으로 새빨간 매니큐어, 뉴요커 잡지, 꽃 가게에 서성이며 꽃 구경하기를 좋아하는데, 꼭 이 순서대로는 아니랍니다.
